There are plenty of ways to get the word out about your event,
but the National Film Festival for Talented Youth (NFFTY) chose just one this year — guerrilla marketing through posterGIANT.

In only three years, NFFTY has become the most influential film festival and support organization for filmmakers 22 and under. This year’s festival — based in Seattle — will be screening a record-breaking 190 films from 33 states and 16 countries. “It’s going to be a fantastic festival for film lovers of any age,” says NFFTY founder Jesse Harris.
So why did NFFTY choose to put all its eggs in posterGIANT’s basket?
“We have a very youthful audience so alternative marketing like wildposting and such has worked well for us,” says Harris. “Guerrilla (marketing) is just different and fits with our audience and festival. We basically did no other paid advertising this year. We got a lot of people saying they saw the posters in streets and in retail, so I think it definitely works.”
posterGIANT is a proud sponsor of NFFTY, as well as the proud executor of its campaign — a customized combination of wildposting and a targeted retail campaign.
